The Moroccan exfoliating glove is called a kessa glove (or kessa mitt). It is a textured, rough-fabric mitt used in traditional hammam steam baths to deeply scrub and peel away dead skin cells.

How its used

1. Soften the skin: soak in a warm bath, shower or steam room for 5 to 10 minutes.
2. Apply black soap: lather traditional Moroccan black soap (Savon Beldi) over your wet skin, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse completely.
3. Scrub with friction: Wet your Kessa glove and use firm, straight (up-and-down) strokes on the skin rather than harsh circular motions.
4. Rinse and hydrate: Wash off the rolled debris and apply a rich body oil or butter immediately after drying.

Replacement: Replace your Kessa glove every 6 to 12 months for optimal hygiene and texture.
