Bukhoor

Incense (Bukhoor) is a traditional Middle Eastern incense made from natural wood chips (usually oud) soaked in fragrant oils, resins, floral extracts and spices. When burned on charcoal or an electric burner, it smoulders to release a rich, welcoming smoke that scents homes, clothes, and hair.

Used for: when guests come over as a form of hospitality, for hair and clothes scenting, and for home freshening.
